YAMAHA FAZER

Concept

The Fazer, gets its DNA from the global Fazer series known for their sports touring, awesome looks. It has a “Look-at-me” appeal with the triple macho design concept giving it a concentrated form with excellent ergonomics. It has the beautifully contoured color – coordinated aerodynamic cowling to keep the wind blast at bay. With its comfortable riding position and seat the rider can enjoy a week end getaway or head off on a touring holiday.

Just like FZ16 and FZ-S, Fazer carries the Monocross suspension to ensure agile running performance and handling. The placement of this model’s ‘MidShip Muffler’ toward the center of the machine gives it a good concentration of mass, exhaust efficiency and handling. Fazer has the “140/60-17” size rear radial tyre with a 60% aspect ratio contributes to better grip and handling stability.

The Fazer will be available in four color Electric Blue, Midnight Black, Lava Red and Flaming Orange.

Herpes Bisa Juga Menyerang Organ Vital Bikers

Meskipun bagian yang paling sering terserang Herpes bagi para bikers adalah wajah, bukan tidak mungkin akan menyerang sektor paling vital bagi bikers yakni kelamin.

Penyebabnya, selain kondisi tubuh yang kelelahan karena terlalu lama berkendara, faktor lamanya waktu berkendara juga bisa menyebabkan area sekitaran kelamin menjadi lembab, namun panas karena terus menerus menopang berat tubuh.

Menurut Kombes Pol Dr Agus Prayitno dari RS Polri Kramatjati, memang Herpes yang menyerang kelamin tidak terjadi secara langsung.

"Biasanya karena kecapaian, jadi merupakan efek selanjutnya dari kecapaian tersebut," ujarnya ketika dihubungi detikOto beberapa waktu lalu.

Karena, masih menurut Dokter Agus, ketika kita berkendara, adrenaline biasanya meningkat, dan itu bisa menyedot energi, sehingga daya tahan tubuh melemah. Nah, pada saat kondisi seperti itulah biasanya para bikers terserang Herpes.

Cara lainnya, terjadi apabila sebelumnya kita pernah terkena Herpes. Karena penyakit ini sifatnya kambuhan.

Nah, ketika kambuh kebetulan yang terkena pada bagian kelamin tersebut yang memang cenderung selalu dalam keadaan lembab. "Hanya ini jarang terjadi," ujar Dokter Agus.

Jadi, walaupun tidak secara langsung, ada baiknya memang kita selalu menjaga kondisi badan saat berkendara.

"Pokoknya, selain jangan sampai kecapaian, juga hindari keadaan maupun situasi yang kira-kira bisa membuat area seputaran kelamin menjadi lembab," ucap Pak Dokter.

Karenanya, kita-kita sebagai bikers harus lebih waspada di jalan raya. karena kita memang tidak pernah tau apa yang terkandung didalam angin. Jangan sampai ketika kondisi kita sedang kelelahan karena berkendara, diterpa angin yang mengandung virus Herpes, maka terjadilah!

"Pokoknya usahakan istirahat setiap 2 jam sekali, meskipun tubuh belum merasa lelah," saran Dokter Agus.

For those of you who don't know, his previous effort "Motorcyclist Retro Magazine" went down to tough economic decisions that sadly had nothing to do with the quality of the product. So Mitch has branched out on his own and is continuing as a more self published entity. For now it's subscription only but it promises to be a very high quality product. Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi

Engine technology

DTS-Fi stands for "Digital Twin Spark Fuel Injection", a ‘Bajaj Patented Technology’. In fuel injection, the conventional carburettor has been replaced by injector which injects fuel in to the engine in a spray form based on the instructions of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) which is a part of the Engine Management System EMS. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is microprocessor based and is the brain of the fuel injection system. It processes information sent by various sensors and instantly determines optimum fuelling and spark timing for various engine-operating conditions. The ECU contains detailed information of the engine's characteristics from which it picks the necessary data for commanding both fuelling & spark timing.

The main advantages of Fuel Injection are: a. Increased power output for same cc. b. Better low-end torque. c. Lower fuel delivery & optimisation of spark timing. d. Improved cold start, quick warm-up and excellent response to sudden acceleration. e. Lower emission levels. f. Self-detection and communication of fuel system malfunctioning if any.
