For the 2001 model year, a facelift to the second-generation MX-5 was released. There were some minor exterior changes, with a press-release of July 18, 2000, announcing the changes as "resulting in an even sportier and more forceful look". Some cockpit elements were changed, with the instrument panel gauges receiving a white face and red numbers. The seats were also upgraded, incorporating more support in the side bolsters and taller headrests. Added for top models (designated 'Sport' in the U.K) were 16-inch (410 mm) wheels with 205/45VR16 low-profile tires, larger brakes at the front and rear, additional chassis stiffening braces, a limited slip differential, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and leather heated seats. The upgraded tires and suspension allowed the new model to pull 0.88 g in lateral grip in tests by Car and Driver magazine. The body was strengthened, gaining 16% in bending rigidity and 22% in torsional rigidity. With the minimum of options, the 2001 model weighed 1,065 kg (2,350 lb).
The 1.8 L (110 cu in) BP-Z3 engine was slightly modified and now featured variable valve timing on the intake camshaft. The intake and exhaust system also received a minor upgrade. These modifications resulted in a power output of 107 kW (143 bhp) (Japan and Australia) or 100 kW (130 bhp) (US only). In the United States, Mazda erroneously quoted the power figure for the Japanese and Australian model in early catalogues. Car and Driver magazine and numerous owners confirmed the missing power, and Mazda offered to buy back the 2001 cars due to those misleading power claims. people wonder what the largest displacement factory car engine was, here's the biggest piston engine, and the 2nd n 3rd biggest that I've come across

I didn't want to watch the silent film, not once I learned that a anime version with English vocals was made. It's a magnificent epic story that varies a lot from the original, and I recommend it highly. Ducati is recalling certain model year 2006 Multistrada 620, model year 2003-2006 Multistrada 1000, and model year 2007-2009 Multistrada 1100 motorcycles.
Fuel leakage can occur at the fuel tank pump flange seal. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.
The number of units affected is 3911.

In the off season, many riders like to plan rides to various motorcycle rallies. I have just updated my motorcycle rally article and schedule for 2011 to assist you.Motorcycle rallies (biker rallies) are simply gatherings of riders and motorcycles at specified times and places usually with attendant vendors, food, games, and other activities.
Motorcycle rallies or biker rallies may last from a day to more than a week. Some major motorcycle or biker rallies are built around organized professional motorcycle races.
Motorcycle rally attendance varied widely from a low of a couple of dozen riders or less to huge organized rallies with hundreds of thousands of riders.

The Taiwanese automaker Luxgen has unveiled the new Luxgen7 SUV Sports+ and MPV Elegance+ at the 2011 Automobile Exhibition from Taipei today.
The SUV Sports+ acknowledged a new two tone paint design with black and red paintwork for the exterior, blackened headlights and taillights, 20 inch alloy wheels and also a new exhaust system with four tailpipes. The interior is now sportier and it continues the black and red color theme with black and red suede seats, a suede steering wheel, aluminum paddles and a carbon fiber console trim.
The MPV Elegance+ only received a new set of 20 alloy wheels outside but the interior upgrades were pretty significant. Luxgen has developed the exterior with high end luxury goodies such as standard diamond quilted two-tone suede seats, a brown leather steering wheel and a classic walnut wood trim.

The 2012 Tesla S
Tesla has by now made three “alpha build” Model S cars and all of them were assembled at the company’s head office in Palo Alto, sunny California. The bodies of the car were made by a dealer located at Michigan. The company will test these cars to learn the good and bad parts of the subsystems and components. Hopefully, in the near future Tesla Motors will enter the “beta builds” stage by production the cars at its factory located in Fremont, California. The cars that will roll out of the factory will be most likely used for federal crash-testing and documentation as well as for various additional tests and system inclusion.
The Tesla S will feature an aluminum body and the company targets a curb weight of about 4,000 pounds, alike to the Audi A8, another all-aluminum model that is considered to be a benchmark for Tesla’s car. Another promise made by the company regards the fact that the S will have the “best in class” aerodynamics from a body designed internally with the aid of Franz Von Holzhausen, the guy responsible for the beautiful Pontiac Solstice and for the bold Mazda Furai concept car. In addition, the aerodynamics of the car will be further tested by Robert Palin (ex Williams F1 driver) and Shaun Johnson (ex Ferrari driver).
The officials at the company promised some time ago that the S will be able to offer a range of up to 300 miles. In addition, they said that the car will feature all the extravagance of a BMW 7-series and space for seven passengers. Speaking of the interior cabin, I in fact doubt that seven people will fit in the car, perhaps five adults and two midgets. Moving on, the company acknowledged $465 million from the United States Department of Energy for building the S model.

The run starting point is at the Beach Club Bar in Lake St. Croix Beach.
The ride usually starts gathering around 10:00 A.M. or so and departs in groups around noon or so. The times are pretty flexible and open.
