GS800 Wanderlust.

This bike would be wasted on me.  With the "wife and kid" lifestyle that I'm currently in I don't have the ability fully appreciate what it's capable of.  And to be honest it's a bit to "high techy" for my usual tastes.  I like em simple and rugged.  But all that aside,  I still want one!

Aircooled BMW's and wanderlust.. Update with one more.

What is it about these old boxers that make me want to roam... It's funny how motorcycles can pull you in so many different emotional directions. A picture like this almost makes me want to buy one LOL..

I'm not usually a big BMW GS ADV guy...but...

that's a pretty impressive pic!

BMW Invests More in its 'i' Project, Snatches Chevy Volt’s Lead Engineer from GM

BMW recently acquired Frank Weber, formerly head of Opel/Vauxhall's product planning division and lead engineer on Chevrolet's Volt. Automotive News Europe reports that he will become head of BMW's vehicle architecture and integration division. Weber will be in control of EfficientDynamics (the green stuff), driver safety/assistance tech, and "full vehicle concepts and architecture", as well as

BMW Updates Badass Z4 GT3 Racer for 2011

It’s only been a year since BMW Motorsports launched the new Z4 GT3 racer in March of 2010, yet the Bavarian automaker has gone ahead and improved its GT customer sports car. BMW’s motorsports division says goal of the latest modifications was primarily to improve aerodynamic efficiency in order to ensure the car's competitiveness in the GT3 classes. Read more »
