Variety of cool stuff I came across at the GNRS
Made me laugh Really great look, I don't think I've seen a steering wheel like this before before the Garmin, early primitive man had a MAP! This mounted clip board seems to be function and utility for a rally great collection! The shifter know instead of the normal handle is a cool touch, the white walled red rims with beauty rings are damn good looking too
Steve Heller is customizing new cars, an unusual type of hobby, not many pull it off well. Steve is putting a lot of effort into it, here's Cro Magnum
this car isn't something I'm keen on, but the attempt to make what you want from a new car to look like an old car is a good thing Steve does more than just auto transfromations, he also hand crafts wood furniture and welds sculptures http://www.fabulousfurnitureon28.com/index.html These lights are cooler than the car, I don't care for the saw blade, but that some old headlights are used for
Flip up steering wheel on a model T... I finally found another!
great to come across such a rare old aftermarket gizmo.. I'm amazed that I've seen one beforehttp://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/09/rollaway-motor-company-made-lokwel-fat.html
I found a Sampan at the GNRS... it's rare to run across one!
the only other Sampan I've come across was a DeSoto that comes to Wavecrest: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/09/dasoto-sampan-if-this-gets-you-in-mood.html

Great customs at GNRS, I don't know what hall bldg, but the total quality caught my eye of these beautiful cars
The above "Wild Cad" from Mario Colalillo and Canden County Customs won Top Radical Kustom and the Barris Kustom D'Elegance award. Love this color combo, reminds me of blueberries and cream Terrific looking design, but I wouldn't have went with this color
D'Agostino Customs tackled one of the ugliest cars, a 1975 Stutz Bearcat... Elvis loved them, but do you?
John and his company do great work... and this will stand out anywhere is goes, but would you want it?
1946 Hudson truck, the Superwasp
This is the 2nd show, maybe the third that I've seen this Hudson at... I'm guessing it hasn't felt pavement yet, and maybe won't because it's too pretty. I haven't seen it with the hood down yet either.
this Oakland Speedster was at the Grand National Roadster show
I bet this doesn't show up at the Oakland Pontiac club outings... that's too bad, it would be a blast to see the reaction from the nut and bolt, rotisserre restoration crowd when they got a eyefull of this

A blown hemi hot rod... damn, I want one! This overpowered hot rod, it just nails it
those E&J headlights look great
Hot rods, rat rods, and customs on the grass at the GNRS
The hub caps really set this hot rod off The barber chair was there for sale, but if it had been part of the truck's custom build I think that would be awesome 1924 Dodge that was customized in 1947 by Bob Ferguson in Coronado, San Diego

This is a new thing, never seen it before, and I love it. 1937 headlights on a fenderless hot rod
Great choice of radiator overflow catch can, perfect color match... I don't think I've seen betterWhat do you think? Ever seen 37 headlights on a fenderless? Like it?
this hot rod has great rake
Nice black stripe on the beltline, understated, but balances the look perfectly
